I have been active and working in the hotel industry since 1994. In May 2024, 30 years have passed since a random student adventure became a lifelong relationship: passion and profession.
I gained experience in international hotel corporations and many larger and smaller hotels, belonging to private owners and state-owned companies, primarily in Poland but also in Europe.
I have been "always" sharing my knowledge with hoteliers and debutants all over Poland. Like the world, our industry is rushing forward, so working every day as the director of a four-star hotel keeps me up to date, and my work gives me satisfaction and pleasure.
You can build a hotel for many, many millions of złoty and equip it for another million złoty.
Is this a recipe for market success? Absolutely not.
Because a hotel is more than just a building and equipment, many entrepreneurs who have been successful in other industries have learned this.
A hotel is an enterprise whose success depends largely on impermanent values: climate, atmosphere, and approach.
Of course, apart from the fact that it must be precisely and accurately programmed for the market. It must meet needs. More profitably than the competition. And permanently. Remember that the employees ultimately decide the success or failure of this business.

In January 2024, the President of the District Court in Warsaw [ADM-5111-852/23] appointed me a Court Expert in the hotel industry.
My fourth (IV) term of office, I serve the national justice system by issuing opinions at the request of the court or other authorized bodies.
'Court experts act as independent experts appointed by the court to provide an opinion or expert opinion in matters requiring specialist knowledge. They are responsible for providing the courts with reliable, independent and competent information that helps resolve cases.'
The aim and goal of the Hotel Institute, where I work as a Senior Expert, is to promote reliable knowledge about the domestic (Polish) hotel industry.
The Institute deals with research, analysis, reports, training, and certification. We also deal with analytical, programmatic, educational, shaping, and control functions.

My academic textbook, 'Marketing in the Hotel Industry,' was published in 2007. It is almost 400 pages long.
For several years, it was a textbook for a subject in hotel engineering.
The edition sold out within two years of its publication. I have a few copies left, so-called 'author's' copies.
The textbook is available at the National Library, most academic libraries, and specialized secondary schools. According to sales data, hoteliers purchased several hundred copies for their facilities.

In October 2005, I received the medal 'For Services to Tourism'. This is a Polish civil departmental distinction in the form of an honorary badge awarded by the minister responsible for tourism.
The badge is a unique honorary distinction and may be awarded to citizens of the Republic of Poland (...) in recognition of their services to developing Polish tourism and strengthening international cooperation in this field.
